In the Cantina was commissioned by Dance Ontario through their Creative Partnerships program. It will receive its world premiere at DanceWeekend'10 at the Fleck Dance Theatre in Toronto, January 23 at 3:25 p.m., and January 24 at 3:35 p.m. The sixteen-minute work will be shown as part of an all-day performance festival, and although this festival will start each day at 1:00 p.m., audience members will be allowed to come and go throughout the day, choosing which short pieces they would like to see. Tickets are not available in advance, but can be obtained at the door with a minimum $10 donation to Dance Ontario. Since the performances are general admission, and seating is limited, arriving well in advance of scheduled performance times is strongly recommended.
